1、按所裝貨物種類

分為干貨集裝箱、散貨集裝箱、液體貨集裝箱、冷藏箱集裝箱，以及一些特種專用集裝箱，如汽車集裝箱、牧畜集裝箱、獸皮集裝箱等。
